Brixton, Plymouth..

Last Friday saw the band perform at Brixton academy for the 2nd night running and the evening didn't disappoint. As well as another class show from Palladium, there were great performances from The Rivers and of course The Kooks, all watched by a sold out audience, which included rock legend Mick Jagger. On Saturday the tour traveled to Plymouth, where the guys played at the Pavilions for the second time since November. It was great to catch up with old friends in the hotel bar after the show as well as partake in some good old discussion of the blues with fellow musicians.

The journey home was pretty painless until the Palladium mobile ran out of fuel in the last 1/2 mile of it's 250 mile journey. A traumatic push through the streets of Peckham was the cause of much suffering for tired members of the band.

Thanks so much to all the street teamers who have helped out in the past week, you've done an amazing job and we look forward to seeing you again soon. A big thanks also to The Kooks for letting us share your great audience. Not forgetting also the staff at Vodka Revolution for their assistance in providing us all with complimentary food on Saturday.

The band travel back down to the South West tomorrow and Wednesday for their own gigs in Truro and Plymouth and hope to see you there!
