Tour Diary - Dublin

Palladium have just returned home from their first trip to Ireland together after playing a set in the early hours of this morning at the infamous Dublin Trinity Ball. The band arrived last night and were keen to get down to some real Irish living and sample the delights of some hearty food and drink. Sadly Rufio was busy programming the rented keyboards with a potpurri of his favourite sounds for the gig while the others enjoyed a few pints of Guinness and what must surely be the worlds biggest roast dinner at a local pub. As you can see, rocky likes lamb with his mint sauce. Some local musicians playing traditional Irish music were then on hand to get the guys in the mood for the gig, which wasn't until 1am and everyone at the ball was well and truly ready to party. Fez is still slightly worried about the health of one enthusiastic student who somehow managed to work himself into such a frenzy during 'Heaven Sent' that he crashed over the barrier and landed on his head. All in all a good night! A great breakfast the next day was topped off with '7 times world champion' Irish coffee, which looked surprisingly like Guinness but tasted like heaven. This week the band play gigs closer to home in Hertford, Cambridge, Peterborough and London.
Until next time.....
