Over the weekend Palladium performed in Bristol and Nottingham at the Dot to Dot festival. It was great to be back on the same bill again on Saturday with the mighty 'Golden Silvers'. After watching the London trio perform, all the guys were united in their opinion that this was the most exciting gig they have seen in a very long time! The band arrived in Nottingham on Sunday after a very slow journey up the M1 with about 40,000 miserable Leeds United fans. Fortunately Fez had rustled up some home made culinary delights to help pass the time. A fantastic chicken terrine, some pork schnitzels, goats cheese, potato salad and a bottle of Pino Grigio went down a treat in the back of the tour bus. Fans should certainly be demanding recipes from the Hungarian guitar wizard soon! Rufio also discovered an exciting new drink, (Wray and Nephews very own overproof rum cream/peanut delight 'Peenie Wallie') which to Fez's disgrace, Rocky used to wash down his portion of terrine. The gig at Rescue Rooms was great, leaving the guys in such a good mood they were kind enough to offer a couple of new fans a lift all the way back to London. Apologies to you both for the amount of urination going on in drinks cartons!
Next weekend is another festival in Cheltenham as well as a performance at Stella McCartney's autumn launch party in Liverpool. Until then......
